Review of You're Next (2013) by Matt B — 13 Aug 2014
Was it scary? Not at all. Was it gory? Not really. So to call this a horror movie seems a bit far fetched. Is it a fun movie? Absolutely! It's a definite throwback to the simple slasher flicks of the 80s.
The characters are people you can't wait to see die, the music is heavy on the synthesizer, and the dialogue is ridiculous. All done in a smart way, of course.
