I've never seen a movie by this studio, to be honest in terms of Japanese animation I've not seen much, mostly Ghibli. I saw that this was getting huge praise so I had to check it out. I think that the beginning was a bit confusing, but by the end I was enamored with the unique tale between two people tied together across time.
It was a great movie.
