So you were expecting a normal anime where it's about a guy and a girl who randomly switched places, yes this is what it's all about, but there's a twist of it, they can't contact each other by phone because of a certain reason, and that certain reason is the whole point of the movie.
Makoto shinkai always delivers a bloody amazing masterpiece of a movie and never lets down, and by never I literally mean never, the animation of this movie is pitch perfecto, the music gets you deeper to the atmosphere, I am blown away.
Tl;dr it's great 10/10.
