Review of Your Name. (2016) by Craig Dylan W — 13 Apr 2017
This movie combines Japanese culture and romance comedy through beautifully animated scenes and teenage drama-filled characters. I fell in love with the story line and everything about it! At first, the movie had a lot of comedy to portray the characters while in their teens, but throughout the movie, it just hits you in the face with emotions and dramatic content.
It is a must see. I definitely will see this several more times, both sub and dub. Honestly, I believed the dub version was well put together by Funimation. Just wished they used the original track in the dubbed version.
All in all, you'll fall in love with the characters, fall in love with the Japanese culture and traditions, you'll fall in love with the way the characters are interconnected, and fall in love with how it makes you feel about reality.
It's eye-opening and mind-boggling. (I never write reviews, but damn surely I have to for this film animation.).
