This film was exquisite. I found the acting wonderful, the animation even more so and everything pulled the strings to my heart. I laughed, I cried and I would definitely recommend watching the original Japanese version with subs! Do not approach this film with a critical and overly logical mind, rather the most enjoyment will come with an open mind and if the it is the anime-style that is holding you back - you are missing out.
