Review of Your Name. (2016) by Peyton M — 26 May 2017
This film is easily one of the best movies I have ever seen. The introductory premise is handled well and doesn't get boring, allowing the early interactions with the two main characters to seem fun and innocent.
The progression of the plot changes the movie completely, as the characters figure out what is happening and what they are feeling, the gravity of the situation sets in and the film turns into a Science Fiction adventure film that is emotionally heart-wrenching and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The animation is visually stunning, and shows the importance and significance of anime in film culture today. I have never felt more emotionally invested in a film, where I ended up questioning life and destiny after it ended.
This is a new favorite I will add to my collection.
