A gorgeously rendered film based on a couple of tropes - time shifting and body swapping, interpreted in a fresh and clever way. I'd be curious to see the dubbed version, as it's difficult to subtitle the differences in language between a girl raised at a shrine in a country village vs a boy brought up in the heart of tokyo.
as an added bonus, the soundtrack is standalone fabulous.
