Review of Your Highness (2011) by Amorphous I — 02 Aug 2012
The first 2/3rds is hysterically and cleverly written and acted (for those who can enjoy fantasy-fiction that borrows heavily from Greek Myth, Clash of the Titans, Return of the Jedi, Willow, etc., and is highly infused with crass, scatological humor typical of Danny McBride).
The last 3rd is a little weaker, but so-so. Would have been better if it ended less predictably, along the lines of, say, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Speaking of which, the costumes, cinematography, and effects could have been better if they were more realistic like Holy Grail and less silly like Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
