Review of Your Highness (2010) by Roy S — 25 Feb 2012

I thought this movie was awesome, I guess a lot of people just didnâ(TM)t get it. They probably got distracted by the obvious jokes, and didnâ(TM)t see the subtle depth of each of the characters that the movie told in itâ(TM)s tail.

Take Courtneyâ(TM)s character for instance (my favorite) hears this guy,who has had nothing but bad luck and misfortune his entire life, who throughout the entire movie is just Sh** on through the whole movie by the rest of the characters, especially Danny McBrides character Thadeous, Courtneyâ(TM)s master, and yet, through the entire movie, Courtney does nothing but stick up for Thadeouse and protect him from danger, and 2/3 of the way through the movie when youâ(TM)re telling yourself that you would just leave Thadeous if you where in Courtneyâ(TM)s position, You find out, that he was bought from a gypsy group that sexual molested and a** raped him when he was their prisoner. Then you take a look at his situation now again, and yeah, taking Sh**â(TM)s not so bad after all.

Then you have McBrideâ(TM)s character, Who is nothing but lucky, the complete opposite of Courtneyâ(TM)s character, Thadeous sits around a mansion castle all day and smokes weed while ordering people around and chasing girls (whether he gets them or not) Every time the movie turns around Thadeousâ(TM)s character is so close to being hurt and something luckily saves him for the better. He just doesnâ(TM)t like to go on quests, thatâ(TM)s all, and for good reason, one of the first stops he has to make he ends up jerking off this old nasty lizard character. Then has to fight an acid spiting five headed snake, (acid spitting), and all he did before was sit and smoke weed.

Go back and watch it again, you might catch the whole story the next time.
