(2011) Your Highness.
FANTASY PERIOD COMEDY.
Fantasy film that is unfunny centering on a worthless brother of a throne who's played by Danny McBride as Thadeous being jealous of an older brother Fabious played by James Franco who was about to be married to a woman who has never been touched, and her name is Belladonna played by Zooey Deschanel but was kidnapped by a magical evil wizard Leezar played by Justin Theroux. The king then makes his worthless son Thadeous to join Fabious to join him on his quest to save his bride-to-be or he will be cut off from the family. After some double crossings they then come across a sword wielding expert Isabel played by Natalie Portman who eventually joins them but has her own reasons why she wants the wizard dead.
Aforementioned, this is supposed to be a comedy that is not even funny since much of the humor consists of many predictable gross scenarios, combined with many four letter words which is closer to how people who have foul mouths talk like on the street than people speaking English which was probably what it was not how it used to be back then. And this whole scenario has already been done before on many times which the purpose for the set up in the first place was that so that it can be adapted to the actor Danny McBride's comedy convenience.
1 star out of 4.
