There seems to be very little middle ground when it comes to fantasy comedies. You have Princess Bride at the top, and unfortunately you have this movie at the near bottom. This movie was not all that bad, but just did not make me laugh as much as I hoped.
As a fantasy movie the movie was fine, and the way Portman looked in the movie warrants a star on its own.
