Review of Your Friends & Neighbors (1998) by Andrew E — 30 Aug 2008
Although loaded with somewhat stereotypical characters, such as the ruthless lothario and bicurious girlfriend, LaBute's study into the cruelty and darkness of everyday relationships offers an unsettling look into the many things that can destroy friendships and love lives, and the few things that can fix them.
Keener gives her first great and gripping performance, as does Stiller and Brenneman.
