Review of Your Friends & Neighbors (1998) by Joyce R — 01 Mar 2009
If your feeling cynical, this is good pick. Some great dialogue, but otherwise the characters were so inexplicably soulless it was hard see this film is anything but a misanthropic man's thwarted take on relationships.
Of course, I'm going to say that Nastassja Kinski was the best thing about this movie--she was only one who seemed fully human. Ben Stiller -- fine performance, but so painful to look at. I could not take him seriously as anyone's love interest.
