Review of Young Sherlock Holmes (1985) by Timmy W — 15 Apr 2008
I just have to always give this one the highest rating. Witness the birth of one of the oldest arch-nemesis of history, as well as a magnificent and gripping music score tied in with a brilliant story plot.
A young Watson meets a young Holmes when he is transferred to a new school due to his old one closing due to funds. Thus begins a thrilling adventure tied in to the murder of a group of men, one of which is a mentor to the young Holmes. However, it turns out that someone else, also close to the young detective, is the master of a plan involving many followers that are all over the London streets and a large temple that follows the old ways of a group of Egyptian priests that followed the God Osiris.
Needless to say, the result is not good, and the "House of Wax" was never this good. See this film and you will get the joke.
See it!
