This movie is also based on a documented fact about Billy the Kid,.
In the 50's a man named Bushy Bill Roberts claimed to be Billy the Kid. This is his story, told as flashbacks. The movie deals with the aftermath of the first movie. This one deals with the friendship and ultimate betrayal of Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid.
On the run Billy joins up with his old gang and try to out run Pat Garrett.
William L. Petersen, Mr. CSI plays Garrett to perfection, he has the walk and look of a real cowboy, and Estevez is once again great as the Kid.
More action old west style with a modern flare, this is a great movie. Bon Jovi made an entire soundtrack album around this movie, Blaze of Glory is wriiten for this movie and tells the tale of Billy The Kid.
Bon Jovi even shows up and dies much like Tom Cruise in the first one.
Great music, action and actors this is another wonderful telling of the legend that will always Be Billy The Kid. The death of Billy the kid is shown just as it was describes by witnesses. and the Real Bill Roberts was found to be a fake, as he was illiterate, and Billy the Kid was actually an educated man.
Get Shot down in a Blaze of Glory in this western classic.
