Review of Young Guns II (1990) by Justin C — 27 Aug 2008
Love the take on the Wild west here. Cool, amooth, clean but favorable. These guys had a great chemistry together. One movie I always recall; though neither great nor captivating, the entire cast gave it a special thrust.
It is ggod to see these actors while there weer still rookies--Estevez as Billy, the kid, is memorable because he is so looks like an unintimidating, likaeable youth and expect little from him until he draws a gun! Sutherland and Peterson are a gift to watch as younger men; Phillips is a treasure and his role is a beauty-well done.
Not historically accurate as aspects of Billy the Kid's life is still fairly speculative. Good acting; nice sequence of events; uncomplicated; action-packed and entertaining...Graged:A.
