Review of Young Guns II (1990) by Jess H — 10 Jun 2010
I like the first Young Guns, but part II comes up on my list as the single best western made so far. First off the beginning of the movie takes off brilliantly from part I. Kiefer Sutherland is in his prime for this one and Emilio Estevez has just the right amount of attitude.
Christian Slater and Lou Diamond Phillips also stand out in this one. This is one of those films where just about the entire movie you are thinking...all these guys are going die...but they don't, because nobody has any aim.
..unless they are an outlaw.
