Review of Young Guns (1988) by Michael T — 24 May 2009
This is my favorite western followed closely by Tombstone. The cast was great, and the guns were hot. The plot was simple, but it was a western. Emilio Estevez was great as Billy the Kid, and Charlie Sheen was amazing as Doc.
Lou Diamond Philips was perfect for Chavez. The little love story mixed in with the revenge hunt was a recipe for perfectoin. The finnal bvattle in the little house is the best western gun fight scene ever.
In the end, I don't think Young Guns 2 should have ever been made, it is a spit in the face of the original, and bast western movie ever made.
