A western for the MTV generation which features a pretty nifty brat pack group of leads including Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen and Lou Diamond Phillips. I remember really liking this when I was a kid - after all how many westerns feature gunslinging kids barely out of their teens? - but watching it today isn't so rewarding.
Still, there are enough shootouts, bloody headshots and general wild west shenanigans to keep you interested and Emilio Estevez keeps you on your toes as loose cannon Billy the Kid. You're never quite sure what he's going to do next.
