Mel Brooks finest film came in the form of Young Frankenstein. The cast is top notch, the jokes never better, and the parody is perfect. Wilder gives my favorite performance of his career, and you get great supporting roles from Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle, Terri Garr, and Madeline Kahn.
One of my favorite comedies of all time. If you just want a good laugh, you don't need a heavy knowledge of Universal Horror, but it only makes it better.
