Review of Young Frankenstein (1974) by Nelson P — 10 Jun 2010
I would consider this Mel Brooks best movie and the greatest satire ever made. It paid respect to the franchise and even added to the mythology of Frankenstien. What makes it so strong is that you can take most of the movie seriously, it presents itself less as a comedy and more as a light hearten version of the first two Frankenstien films put together.
