Review of Young Frankenstein (1974) by Derek S — 30 Sep 2010
Very funny. For me, Marty Feldman as Igor stole the show. I think this is Mel Brooks' most contained film, and probably the most solid storyline for it.
That all being said, I think bysetting his sights on just one film and containing the story, it limited his humour somewhat, so I wouldn't say its his funniest. But coming from me, "not Mel Brooks' funniest" is in no way a put down.
