Review of Young Frankenstein (1974) by Hossein S — 18 May 2012
The movie is from heart. Maybe this is what renders it timeless as it stresses, just like any other Brooks movie, the importance of being human even if assembled together in a lab by a bunch of nuts. Actors are wonderful and Brooks direction is stunning.
In the era of mindless corporate laugh shows and teenager wet dreams packed and sold as Comedy, Young Frankenstein remains faithful to the genre, 30's horror flicks, and above all what defines us as human animals.
Timeless. Period.
