Review of Young Frankenstein (1974) by Jones K — 28 Dec 2012
Young Frankenstein is a comic film of 1974 directed Mel Brooks. The plot is about Frederick Frankenstein, grandson of the famous Viktor von Frankenstein, who inherits the castle of his grandfather, who had gone there, he discovers that his grandfather's experiments were not crazy and, with his assistant Igor, nephew of the former assistant of Viktor and assistant Inga, bring back to life the creature with catastrophic results.
The film, despite many years have passed, it continues to be original and fun thanks to the beats of the characters, and sometimes a little vulgar and intelligent use of a '20s-style photography, black and white, and the tools used scenes in James Whale's Frankenstein as a tribute to the films of the latter.
