Review of Young Frankenstein (1974) by Jon C — 18 Jan 2015
One of Mel Brooks' stronger parodies.
But only really funny in some instances.
They reiterate a new twist on the whole Frankenstein's monster story.
Gene Wilder's more psychotic side is shown here bringing dead tissue back to life.
But the cool thing here is that the creation wants to live and have a life worth living.
Great ode to being filmed in classic black-and-white just like the good ol' days of cinema.
A good comedy for once.
