Review of Young and Innocent (1937) by Philip O — 11 Sep 2008
This early take on one of Hitchcock's favourite plots--the wrongfully accused man on the run--is full of dry humour and mostly notable for an ingenious crane shot that identifies the true murderer.
The MacGuffin, a trench coat, is rather weak though, and the story is too loosely strung together.
