Review of Young and Dangerous 3 (1996) by Greg W — 05 Jul 2013
Allegedly better than the first two, directed by Lau, (the man behind the Infernal Affairs trilogy) starring Wong, Yam and Mok, should be good right? Not really. Most of the first 55 minutes is a wash, then Yam steps out of a restaurant in Amsterdam.
Wong was nominated for best supporting actor, but lost to Eric Tsang in Comrades. His colorful triad character is worth watching, as is the assassination and melee finale, but other than that it's a disappointing and dated triad drama.
