Review of Young & Beautiful (2013) by Hugo G — 12 Jan 2014

This movie was led by a great performance by newcomer Marine Vacth. She was very seductive while also being reclusive and reserved. In general it had a very dark tone while also very provocative. It was about teenagers sexual life and their sexual awakening and also experimentation in some way, but because of how reserved Isabelle was its hard to fully comprehend what was going through her mind.

I really liked this movie, and it just proves how innovative and visionary French cinema has become, and it makes me excited to continue exploring that countries' films and learn from them.
