Review of Young Adult (2011) by Bryan C — 21 Jul 2012
This is a hard movie to watch. The fact that critics found it funny probably means they watch Nascar races for the humorous crash scenes. There's nothing here that hasn't been done before in dozens of much better movies and Theron's character is so mentally unbalanced that the movie feels exploitive after a time.
Hard to imagine Diablo Cody getting many opportunities after this disaster.
