Review of Young Adult (2011) by Hazel C — 09 May 2012
This movie was sad and depressing but we all had those moments in life so we can relate. Theron was great as Mavis. it is a bit dark, unexpected and a train-wreck. At the end when you think Mavis might pulled herself out; Mavis never learns anything about herself and never changes, she is exactly where she started: jobless, alone, and unhappy, which is where she wants to be, anyway.
right? therefore this one is not for everyone.
