Review of Young Adult (2011) by Augustine H — 23 May 2012
Jason Reitman always crafts interesting, personal films and Young Adult is no exception. Unfortunately it doesn't live up to the standards of Up in the Air or Juno but it is a mildly funny/depressing journey with a wonderfully real performance by Theron and terrific supporting work by Patton Oswalt.
I quite enjoyed the way it ended and found the scene where Theron breaks at the baby-naming party riveting.
