Review of Young Adult (2011) by Tori C — 16 Dec 2012

This movie shocked me with how unexpected it was. It is absolutely not what it appears to be. On one level, yes, it is somewhat a comedy. A pitch black comedy about immature adults. On the other hands, it's a serious look at severe undiagnosed mental illness and the people who propagate it.

It's a fascinating film that while depressing offers a great deal of insight into a phenomenon that seems to be increasingly common.
