Young Adult includes amazing performances by Charlize Theron and Patton Oswalt. It might not be for everyone, because it does not follow the basic story rules. The main character Mavis has dramatic need and conflict but she lacks change.
The story might lack some things but it has incredible emotional depth. It's something different and fresh. I highly recommend it.
