While it is watchable, it is really just a poor rip-off of films like 'A Serious Man' and 'Another Year' (although 'Another Year' was being made around the same time). Nothing really happens and that is nothing that calls for your attention.
Nor is it funny. In fact, it feels quite proud of itself. Yet, Woody Allen lacks the ability of the Coen brothers to find the right balance in these sort of films. It is nothing remarkable.
