Review of You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (2010) by Ido H — 11 Jun 2012
I liked You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, even thought I agree this isn't one of Woody Allen's best and it is very far from being Annie Hall, Manhattan, Crimes or Misdemeanors or Midnight in Paris.
As usual, this movie works thanks to Woody Allen's talent in writting screenplays and directing with that peculiar style, a bit repetitive and very little risky, but fine. The cast is well, it's always great to see a star-studded cast in a Woody Allen story.
The movie is not boring at all and treats disappointment in a very convincing way, despite the story is left open in the end.
