Review of You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (2010) by David S — 15 Jan 2011
Woody went to London and tried to go native, but ended up in stereotype movie-set. So maybe he didn't really go? The script-writer also got stuck in the past; even the native english actors could not iron out all the americanisms.
But somewhere aong the line, almost by accident, a reasonably good movie, with a few lol moments, got made. Interestingly it appears to be 'layered' and rewatching increases appreciation. Being devoid of script development, knowing the ending changes nothing.
Nice to see a development of 'Burn After Reading'. Or when does imitation cease to flatter and become copying?
