Not weird enough to be artsy, not imaginative enough to be memorable, not exciting enough to be an action film. I like Ramsey, but this is pretty disappointing. Phoenix's acting is hidden in the shadows of an editing style that would have been impressive in the 1990s.
It's the Travelling Wilburys of movies -- a mix of solid elements that comes out bland and pointless in the end.
