Review of You Were Meant for Me (1948) by Gaspar O — 30 Jan 2013
In my opinion, the only real point to this movie was to get Dan Dailey back into show business after the war, and, of course, to showcase his singing and dancing. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but with the mediocre acting and humdrum story, that's about all there was, and not even all that much of it.
I like old movies, and I thought this was average at best. The number at the beginning was a ton of fun though!
