Review of You Only Live Twice (2007) by Steve H — 30 Dec 2008
For my first foray into pre-Brosnan Bond, I think I chose the wrong movie to start with. Q's copter-gadget was inventive, and the concept of Bond actually dying was clever, but this one was weak on substance and didn't give Bond the chance to be debonair.
It was fun to see so much of what inspired 'Austin Powers,' and the timely-for its-time plot about the space race played effectively.I want to sink my teeth into a really good Connery Bond movie.
Any recommendations?
