Review of You Only Live Twice (1967) by Christopher R — 06 Apr 2009
You Only Live Twice is a good return to form for 007 after Thunderball and the first big-set production for a James Bond film. Taking place almost entirely in Japan, YOLT is an excellent Bond film, full of intrigue and action.
Great performances from Tetsuro Tamba and Mie Hama as well as Donald Pleasence giving Blofeld a face. This film is also notable for the excellent set design of the volcano base, still great looking to this day.
