Review of You, Me and Dupree (2006) by Josh G — 19 Apr 2010
'You, Me and Dupree' is a 2006 comedy film directed by Anthony Russo, the film as a few funny laughs but nothing much to offer in this movie as I was quit disappointed with this film not having much of a background or anything new to its genre, with a superstar cast it was heavily practical & didn't really have any surprise laughter's or any enjoyment in them movie as I was bored half way in the film and the movie really didn't connect with me really as it was a big blow it is pretty average to watch.
The acting was pretty much a average performance as I think they were trying too hard to be funny (which most of them are already soo funny & talented I don't know why they were trying soo hard), which they are; Matt Dillon (was brilliant, funny & talented in the movie), Owen Wilson (He was alright, but not one of his best role, he was pretty weak in the film), Kate Hudson (she was sceptically beautiful, talented but not as good in this movie), Michael Douglas (is really funny & crazy father in-law), Seth Rogen (Funny as ever), Bill Hader, Amanda Detmer & the rest of the unknown cast member did a great job (Also the main actors to) and the genre Comedy & Romance was average/ decent in this movie (which it didn't do too much justices towards the Movie really!),the film dose care out to much generic themes & slapstick humour and even know it was a good film to watch it was boring, very over silliness and over filmier in some films of its type.
