Review of You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008) by James K — 30 Nov 2010
One of Sandler's better comedies, which is actually saying a lot. It's an amusing send-up of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that doesn't take itself too seriously, bordering, in some moments, on a fresh absurdity that pushes the material so far out of the arena of offensiveness that you eventually find yourself smiling at how little the cast and crew care about the extreme elements of the sides they're representing.
