Review of You Don't Know Jack (2010) by Adam F — 25 Oct 2010
I'm not familiar with the Jack Kevorkian story, but with Al Pacino in the lead and the Emmy's assembled I felt obliged to watch.
Al Pacino is fantastic (as usual), in his best performance in years. The story is incredibly emotional and moving, and it's really Pacino's work that makes it as good as it is. It has a long duration, but it's very entertaining and all the supporting performances hold it together and avoid failure. A real treat.
A favourite of the year.
