Review of You Don't Know Jack (2010) by Maureen E — 26 Nov 2010
Pacino was.
Pacino truly "became" Jack in this film. This becomes especially apparent after viewing an interview with the real Jack Kavorkian in the "special features" on the DVD. The issues Jack raised are extremely important and the film does a good job of exposing the real opposition to "mercy killing" --- doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies who get rich prolonging the suffering, politicians looking for an "issue" to bring themselves limelight and glory, and religious extremists. I highly recommend this film.
