Review of You Don't Know Jack (2010) by Brian C — 09 Jan 2011
As a child of the 90's, one of the biggest villain I can remember, was Jack Kevorkian. The news painted him as an evil doctor that wanted to kill old people. I was very excited to watch this film and I'm incredible glad I did.
It really helped to paint in the picture of a man who had a strong view on euthanasia, but just went about putting it into practice the wrong way. Al Pacino was fantastic in this part and completely melted into the character, while all the other actors did a great job supporting what was basically only a film about Dr.
Kevorkian. The mix of actual real video footage from the patience he assisted really helped to make you understand why he would do this and why something like this may not be such a bad idea. Not a fun film, but one that everyone should watch.
