Review of You Don't Know Jack (2010) by Aidan G — 15 Jan 2011
Excellent film. I have always been interested in the issue of euthanasia. Pacino did a great job driving this film. Whether you agree or disagree, this film makes you think and reflect on people you have lost or seen suffer until the final step.
Jack is so bold and brash, I really respect his character even if he is a tad mean at times. Loved all the supporting characters and really enjoyed watching them argue and interact with Jack. It is interesting thinking about what a big deal was made out of this issue.
There are so many issues in the world and the USA that are much more pressing and we continue to ignore them. People get so up in arms about other's way of life just because they are different from their own.
We should be in charge of our own bodies. Don't want to get all political. But this movie was a great joy to watch.
