Review of You Don't Know Jack (2010) by Dave L — 03 Feb 2011
It's amazing that in 20 years there has only been some progress in Oregon, Washington and Montana. It was one century from the end of slavery until the civil rights act. Maybe in 2090 there will finally be a death with dignity law passed.
The ethical imperative of bringing peace to the terminally ill was made clear to me at an early age because of the ordeal my family and I went through with my great-grandmother.
Pacino plays the elderly hero quite well. His personality and the court battles were much more interesting than I expected. Hopefully this movie will advance legalization of humane end of life care for people.
