Review of You Can't Take It with You (1938) by Jill M — 03 Sep 2007
Seriously hysterical, despite it being an absolutely ancient franchise. The barrymores rule, and you already know how I feel about Jimmy Stewart. I feel our country owes a lot to Frank Capra, who went through the trouble of making it clear to all of the people who watched his movies that innocence and integrity are where the power is at, and that there truly can be decent and hardworking people that can be ideal and charming as hell.
