Review of You Can't Take It with You (1938) by Lauren H — 05 Nov 2007
Charming and gentle, a rejection of the ugliest side of capitalism and celebration of all that is good and quirky in the American spirit. Unlike some of Capra's films, which threaten to become either saccharine or preachy, this remains firmly rooted in the joy of the human spirit.
Still relevant after all these years.
