Review of You Can't Take It with You (1938) by Valerie M — 02 Jan 2008
Okay, I should say right off the bat that I've been thoroughly in love with Jean Arthur since the first time I saw Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. I am also an unabashed fan of the ideals, warmth and overall wholesomeness that are found in Capra movies.
This one has it all. A family of quirky characters, a wonderful love story, and the reformation of a Scrooge-like businessman.
Wonderful stuff.
